Recorded at THE lake house, in Hillsboro MO; Grownup Music is the first full length record by St. Louis band Kenshiro's. St. Louis is a magical city that connects places via arch; you may know St. Louis for having birthed Chuck Berry and William S. Burroughs, and for having adopted Julio, Antonio, and Jessie (last names all Italian).

Grownup Music is for adults, as the title suggests. Grownup Music is for children too, but Surgeon General's warnings do apply. Though the association of any variation of the word "adult" with music suggests something too solemn to be considered fun, Grownup Music advocates for the confronting of mature themes in an uncompromisingly entertaining way.
